Pantone's color report features floral shades

There’s good news for the green industry next year as greens take over as the hot basic color for 2013. Both men and women’s fashions are featuring hues of green like Emerald, Grayed Jade and even Tender Shoots, a vibrant yellow-green.
There are lots of other garden-inspired hues to watch for like Exotic African Violet, Poppy Red and Lemon Zest. Here’s a list of the top colors:



Tender Shoots - a vibrant, cheerful yellow-green
Grayed Jade - a subtle, hushed green with a gray undertone
Emerald - a lively, radiant green
African Violet - a bold statement color that brings a touch of intrigue
Poppy Red - a seductive and celebratory shade of red
Nectarine - a bright, effervescent citrus orange with coral undertones
Lemon Zest - a refreshing, spritely greenish casted yellow
Dusk Blue - a calm, serene and hushed blue
Linen - a light and airy nude-like basic
Tidal Foam - a neutral reminiscent of waves on the shore
Monaco Blue - a classic shade that offers both stability and depth
Alloy - a soft gray that makes a statement without the weight
Vibrant Orange - an animated, striking hue, that provides vigor and enthusiasm
Sunflower - an earthy, Dijon-like hue
