Sakata Ornamentals' Cool Crop Open House set for Jan. 26-28

Grower workshop will focus on primula production

Growers, distributors and garden center retailers are invited to attend Sakata Ornamentals' Cool Crop Open House and Primula Workshop from Jan. 26-28 at the company's Morgan Hill, Calif., site. A grower workshop focused on primula production will be conducted from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Jan. 27.

Attendees can view the breadth of Sakata’s industry-leading selection of Primulas, including Danova (pictured), Daniella, Delight, Rosanna and Super Nova, as well as Primula malicoides Prima. A wide assortment of Sakata’s popular cool season crops, including Poppy Wonderland , Ranunculus Bloomingdale and Anemone Harmony, will also be on display, in addition to Pansy Majestic Giants II and other high-impact companion crops.

The grower workshop on Jan. 27 will focus on production considerations and challenges while offering retail marketing tips.
